Headline – Castle Grove is proud to support good causes in the community.
Castle Grove is pleased to support worthy causes.
Most notable of these are the following:
- The Ray Kenny Bursary, established to encourage local young chefs to broaden their horizons . The awards in 2011 include a paid placement at Lucknam Park in Gloucestershire , a cash prize and runners-up received a goody bag including a Sabatier knife.
- Exeter Leukaemia Fund, in recognition of the care Ray received during his illness – Click here to find out more.
- The parish church of St Michael & All Angels, Bampton. The biennial church fete is held in the grounds of Castle Grove.
- Bampton Voluntary- Aided church school. Isabelle donated the swimming-pool in memory of Ray.
- Soldiers, Sailors & Air Force Association (SSAFA) which has helped ex-servicemen & their dependents. We hold an annual coffee morning.
- Save the Children Fund. We have a Christmas coffee morning for cards & gifts.
- Various Bampton based causes and events, such as Bampton Fair, held on the last Saturday in October.
